Indications

Ciproflox is used for the treatment of bacterial infections in various parts of the body. It is particularly effective in the treatment of urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, skin and soft tissue infections, as well as gastrointestinal infections. Furthermore, it may be indicated in the treatment of infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria and some Gram-positive bacteria. Its use should be considered in patients with complicated infections where other antibiotics have not achieved satisfactory results.

Composition

Each Ciproflox ampule contains 400 mg of ciprofoxalin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation of the product.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless indicated by a physician. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of tendinitis or tendon rupture associated with quinolone use.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of central nervous system diseases, such as epilepsy, as the use of ciprofloxacin may increase the risk of seizures. Likewise, it is important to monitor renal function in patients with renal insufficiency, as they may require dose adjustment. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, as this medication may increase light sensitivity.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
