Indications

Cartigen is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis and other osteoarticular disorders involving pain and inflammation. It is used as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent, especially in cases of osteoarthritis, where the aim is to improve joint function and reduce associated pain. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of the production of inflammatory mediators, thus promoting the recovery of mobility and the patient's quality of life.

Composition

Each Cartigen tablet contains 50 mg of diacerein as an active ingredient. In addition, it includes excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.

Contraindications

The use of Cartigen is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to diacerein or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with severe liver diseases, or to those with a history of inflammatory bowel diseases. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of diarrhea or gastrointestinal disorders.

Precautions

It is recommended to monitor patients starting treatment with Cartigen due to the possibility of gastrointestinal adverse effects. Likewise, liver function should be evaluated in patients with a history of liver pathologies. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. It is important to avoid self-medication and follow the healthcare professional's instructions.

Store Cartigen in its original packaging, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
