Indications
Carnotprim is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, including nausea and vomiting of various etiologies, such as those induced by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or post-operative. In addition, it is used in the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis and in the management of dyspepsia. This medication acts on the central nervous system, facilitating gastric emptying and improving gastrointestinal tract motility.
Composition
Each Carnotprim tablet contains 30 mg of Metoclopramide as the active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
Carnotprim should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Metoclopramide or any of the excipients in the formula. It is contraindicated in cases of gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction or perforation, as well as in patients with pheochromocytoma. Its use is not recommended in people with a history of dystonia or tardive dyskinesia.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with central nervous system disorders, such as epilepsy, as well as in those with renal or hepatic insufficiency. Prolonged use of Metoclopramide can lead to serious adverse effects, so regular medical follow-up is recommended. It should not be administered to the pediatric population without adequate medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
