Indications
Cardispan is indicated as a nutritional supplement in patients with levocarnitine deficiency, which can occur in conditions such as primary carnitine deficiency syndrome, mitochondrial diseases, and other metabolic conditions that require increased carnitine availability. Levocarnitine is essential for the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria, where their oxidation for energy takes place. It has been used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, as well as in the management of chronic fatigue and the improvement of physical performance in situations of metabolic stress.
Composition
Each Cardispan ampoule contains 1g of levocarnitine in a 5ml volume. Inactives: distilled water, citric acid and other excipients.
Contraindications
Cardispan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levocarnitine or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease or in those who require strict control of fluid intake.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with medical conditions that may affect kidney function. It is important to monitor patients with heart or metabolic diseases, as well as those who are undergoing treatment with other medications that may interfere with levocarnitine metabolism.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
