Indications

Calcium+D Effervescent is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency in populations with increased requirements, such as in infancy, adolescence, and in women during pregnancy and lactation. It is also used in adults and older people to maintain adequate bone health and prevent osteoporosis. The combination of calcium and vitamin D promotes proper absorption of calcium in the intestine and its utilization in the body, thus contributing to the formation and maintenance of strong bones and teeth.

Composition

Each effervescent tablet of Calcium+D contains:

  • Calcium: 500 mg
  • Vitamin D: 200 IU

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in patients with hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, and in those with severe kidney disease. Its use is not recommended in patients with calcium kidney stones or in those who present with intestinal absorption disorders.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using this product in patients with heart disease or a history of kidney stones. It is important to monitor blood calcium levels in patients taking high doses of calcium and/or vitamin D. In addition, it is advisable to consult a doctor if taking any other medication or supplement containing calcium or vitamin D to avoid interactions.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
