Indications

Brupacil is indicated for the treatment of various gastrointestinal and urinary tract conditions, including smooth muscle spasms in conditions such as colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and dysmenorrhea. It can also be used to relieve symptoms of cystitis and other conditions associated with abdominal pain and discomfort. Hyoscine acts as an antispasmodic, reducing intestinal motor activity and relieving spasms, which results in a decrease in pain and discomfort.

Composition

Each Brupacil tablet contains 10 mg of hyoscine as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Brupacil should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to hyoscine or any component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in cases of closed-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, and intestinal obstruction. Its use should be avoided in patients with severe liver or kidney problems.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular or gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may cause anticholinergic effects. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation without medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
