Indications
Broxol Ped Drops is a medication indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions involving excessive mucous secretions. It is used in cases of acute and chronic bronchitis, as well as in chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) where sputum production is a problem. Additionally, it is recommended for the management of productive cough, facilitating expectoration by reducing the viscosity of mucus in the airways.
Composition
Each milliliter of Broxol Ped Drops contains 25 mg of Ambroxol. It also contains excipients such as purified water, sorbitol, and preservatives that stabilize the product.
Contraindications
Broxol Ped Drops should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in cases of active peptic ulcer or a history of severe allergic reactions to mucolytics.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Broxol Ped Drops to patients with kidney or liver problems, as well as those with a history of severe pulmonary disease. It is important to monitor respiratory function and adjust the dose if necessary. Should adverse reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
