Indications
Bronid (Pramipexole) is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease in its various stages, as well as for the treatment of primary dystonia, providing relief from motor symptoms. Its use is aimed at improving the quality of life of patients, facilitating the control of involuntary movements and improving motor function. In addition, it can be used as a complementary treatment in cases of sleep disorders, especially in patients with restless legs syndrome.
Composition
Each Bronid tablet contains 1 mg of Pramipexole as an active ingredient. In addition, it contains excipients such as lactose, starch, and magnesium stearate, which allow for the proper formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
Bronid is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pramipexole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is also not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency or in those with severe psychiatric disorders.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when using Bronid in patients with a history of behavioral disorders, due to the possibility of adverse psychiatric effects. Likewise, patients with a history of heart disease or blood pressure problems should be monitored. It is important to adjust the dose in patients with mild to moderate renal insufficiency and to carry out regular medical follow-up.
