Indications

Bromazepam is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as for the management of symptoms associated with these disorders. It is used in the management of severe anxiety episodes and in cases where a short-term anxiolytic effect is required. The medication may be useful in conditions where the patient experiences insomnia due to anxiety, as well as in other conditions where symptoms such as emotional tension, restlessness, and sleep disturbances are identified. It is important that the use of Bromazepam is under appropriate medical supervision to ensure its effectiveness and safety.

Composition

Each Bromazepam tablet contains 3 mg of bromazepam as the active ingredient. Excipients include lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Bromazepam should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to the molecule or any of the excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with myasthenia gravis, severe respiratory insufficiency, and those with sleep apnea syndrome. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical evaluation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Bromazepam in patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or psychiatric disorders. It is important to monitor the use of the medication in the elderly and in those with hepatic or renal disease. Discontinuation of treatment should be gradual to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
