Indications
Bresaltec aerosol is indicated for the treatment and relief of bronchial asthma symptoms, as well as for the treatment and prevention of bronchial crises in patients with chronic obstructive airway diseases. Its use is recommended in emergency situations for rapid relief of bronchoconstriction. In addition, this medication can be used as part of a therapeutic regimen to improve pulmonary function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Composition
Each aerosol dose contains 100 mcg of salbutamol as the active ingredient, along with excipients that facilitate the administration of the medication.
Contraindications
Bresaltec is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to salbutamol or any of the formula's components. It should not be used in cases of severe tachycardia or cardiac arrhythmias that may be exacerbated by salbutamol.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or in those taking medications that may interact with salbutamol. It is essential to monitor the response to treatment, especially in patients with COPD, as excessive use of bronchodilators can lead to a deterioration in disease control.
Storage
Store the aerosol in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C.
