Indications
Bredelin is indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections of various locations, such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, as well as in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia. It is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and is used in the treatment of acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and acute sinusitis.
Composition
Each 100 ml of solution contains 500 mg of Levofloxacin. Excipients: purified water, hydrochloric acid and other excipients.
Contraindications
Bredelin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It should not be administered in cases of a history of tendinopathy related to fluoroquinolone use.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of epilepsy, severe kidney problems, as well as in those with conditions that may predispose to the onset of seizures. Renal function should be evaluated before starting treatment. Its use is not recommended in growing children and adolescents due to the risk of adverse effects on joint development.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
