Indications
Bloqadre is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of beta and alpha-adrenergic receptors, leading to a decrease in heart rate and a reduction in peripheral vascular resistance. It is also used in patients with mild to moderate chronic heart failure, as it has been shown to improve cardiac function and quality of life in these patients. Additionally, it can be used in the management of angina pectoris and for the prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with a history of myocardial infarction.
Composition
Each Bloqadre tablet contains 25 mg of carvedilol as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Bloqadre is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to carvedilol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered in cases of bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, decompensated heart failure, and in patients with a history of contact dermatitis to carvedilol.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver disease, diabetes mellitus, peripheral arterial disease, and those receiving treatment with other antihypertensives. It is important to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. In case of surgery, the anesthesiologist should be informed about the use of this medication.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
