Indications

Bipitrek is indicated for the treatment of major depression in adults. It is also used in the treatment of anxiety disorders and in the prevention of relapse in patients with depressive disorders. Bupropion, its active ingredient, acts on neurotransmission in the brain, which helps improve mood and motivation in patients with depression. It has also been shown to be beneficial in managing withdrawal symptoms in people who want to quit smoking.

Composition

Each Bipitrek tablet contains 150 mg of bupropion, as well as excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication. The exact composition of the excipients can be found in the product leaflet.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of seizures, bulimia or anorexia nervosa, as well as in those receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Its use is not recommended in patients with hypersensitivity to bupropion or any of the components of the formula.

Precautions

Special care should be taken when using Bipitrek in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, liver or kidney disease, and in those who consume excessive alcohol. Close medical supervision is recommended during treatment, especially at the start of therapy and during dose changes.

Storage

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
