Indications

Biovitol-C Cream is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients with comedonal, papular, and papulopustular lesions. Tretinoin, its active ingredient, works by promoting cell renewal and reducing pore obstruction, which facilitates the resolution of acne breakouts. It is also used to improve the appearance of skin in photoaging conditions, including the reduction of fine wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. This medication should be used under the supervision of a physician, who will assess the need for its use in each patient and establish appropriate treatment.

Composition

Each 100 g of Biovitol-C Cream contains: 0.05 g of tretinoin. Excipients: purified water, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, liquid paraffin, and other excipients necessary for product formulation.

Contraindications

Biovitol-C Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tretinoin or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with severe inflammatory skin diseases or eczema.

Precautions

Care should be taken when applying Biovitol-C Cream to irritated skin areas or open wounds. It is important to avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen during treatment. The skin may become more sensitive during the use of this medication, so it is recommended to adjust the frequency of application according to the patient's tolerance.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
