Indications

Bionoxol is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases that involve mucus production, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma, and other conditions where facilitating the expulsion of secretions is required. Its mucolytic action helps reduce mucus viscosity, thus facilitating its elimination. This medication can also be used in cases of respiratory tract inflammation and in postoperative processes, where the aim is to improve respiratory function and prevent associated complications.

Composition

Each 100 ml of Bionoxol contains 300 mg of Ambroxol hydrochloride, as well as the necessary excipients for its formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should also be avoided in cases of active peptic ulcer, as well as in those with a history of severe allergic reactions to other mucolytics.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. It is essential to consult a doctor before starting treatment if the patient has severe respiratory problems or if they are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
