Indications
Bionoxol is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases where there is thick, difficult-to-expel mucous secretion, such as in cases of bronchitis, asthma, and other conditions affecting the respiratory tract. This medication acts as a mucolytic, facilitating the elimination of bronchial secretions by reducing the viscosity of mucus, which in turn improves respiratory function. Its use is recommended in patients with chronic obstructive respiratory diseases and in those with respiratory infections that present with sputum production. It is essential to follow medical instructions for proper use.
Composition
Each Bionoxol tablet contains 30 mg of Ambroxol as an active ingredient. Additionally, it includes excipients necessary for the tablet formulation.
Contraindications
Bionoxol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ambroxol or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, or in those with severe renal insufficiency without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of peptic ulcer and in those with kidney or liver problems. During treatment, it is important for the patient to maintain adequate hydration to promote the elimination of secretions. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
