Indications

Biolaif is indicated for the treatment of hormonal disorders related to androgen deficiency in postmenopausal women. It may be useful in managing symptoms such as sexual dysfunction, osteoporosis, and other metabolic disorders. Prasterone acts as a hormonal precursor, helping to restore hormonal balance in women whose androgen production has decreased due to menopause. Its use should be considered in patients with significant symptoms affecting their quality of life.

Composition

Each Biolaif capsule contains 50 mg of prasterone as the active ingredient. Excipients: gelatin, glycerin, and other excipients that enable product formulation.

Contraindications

Biolaif is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to prasterone or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in women with a history of hormone-dependent cancer, such as breast cancer or endometrial cancer. Likewise, it is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Precautions

Close monitoring is important in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or liver disorders. Regular medical evaluation during treatment is recommended. Self-medication and use of the drug in doses higher than those prescribed by the physician should be avoided.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
