Indications

Bencoprim is indicated for the treatment of acute muscle pain and muscle spasms. It is used in situations where a muscle relaxant is required to relieve tension and pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions, such as sports injuries, sprains, or back pain. Cyclobenzaprine acts on the central nervous system, producing sedative and relaxing effects on skeletal muscles, thereby facilitating pain relief and improving patient mobility.

Composition

Each Bencoprim tablet contains 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cyclobenzaprine or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in patients with heart disease, arrhythmias, or those undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Its use is not recommended in patients with glaucoma or urinary retention.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse, as well as in those with hepatic or renal insufficiency. The risk-benefit ratio should be carefully evaluated in elderly patients, who may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of the medication. Bencoprim may cause drowsiness and should be avoided in situations requiring maximum alertness, such as driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
