Indications
Asmaral-K is indicated for the treatment and prevention of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis. This medication acts as a histamine H1 receptor antagonist, thereby reducing the effects of allergic reactions. It is also used in the management of asthma-related symptoms, such as allergen-induced bronchospasm.
Composition
Each Asmaral-K tablet contains 1 mg of Ketotifen as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and absorption of the medication.
Contraindications
Asmaral-K is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ketotifen or any of the components of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver or kidney disease without medical supervision. Furthermore, its administration should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation, unless expressly indicated by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizure disorders or who are being treated with other medications that may depress the central nervous system. It is important to monitor patients who experience adverse effects, such as drowsiness or dizziness, during the use of this medication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
