Indications
Argemol is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infections in burns, wounds, and ulcers. Its action is due to silver sulfadiazine, which acts as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, effective against a variety of bacteria and fungi. It is recommended for the management of second and third-degree burns, as well as skin lesions that require a moist and protected environment for proper healing. Argemol helps reduce the risk of infections in open lesions and promotes an environment conducive to skin regeneration.
Composition
Each 100 grams of Argemol contains 1.0 gram of silver sulfadiazine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product.
Contraindications
Argemol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to silver sulfadiazine or other components of the formula. It should not be used in newborns or in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, as it may increase the risk of hemolysis.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those with a history of adverse drug reactions. It is important to avoid application to large areas of the skin, as it can be absorbed systemically. Additionally, it is recommended not to mix with other topical products unless directed by a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
