Indications
Arahkor Duo is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medication combines two active ingredients: fimasartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, and amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, which act synergistically to reduce blood pressure. Its use is recommended in patients who require effective blood pressure control and have not achieved adequate management with antihypertensive drugs alone. Arahkor Duo can be used as initial treatment or as combination therapy in patients who have not reached desired blood pressure targets.
Composition
Each Arahkor Duo tablet contains 60 mg of fimasartan and 5 mg of amlodipine as active ingredients. Additionally, it contains excipients that promote the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Arahkor Duo should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to fimasartan, amlodipine, or any of the excipients in the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment, cardiogenic shock, or those with severe aortic stenosis. Furthermore, its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with renal impairment, ischemic heart disease, or those undergoing treatment with diuretics. It is important to monitor blood pressure and renal function during treatment. Likewise, blood potassium levels should be evaluated, as the use of Arahkor Duo may influence their concentration.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
