Indications

Anzanera is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and as an adjunctive treatment in convulsive disorders. This medication acts on the central nervous system, helping to reduce neuronal excitability. Its use is recommended under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment according to the specific needs of the patient. Additionally, it can be used in the prevention of epileptic seizures in patients with epilepsy, as well as for the management of restless legs syndrome and anxiety-related sleep disorders.

Composition

Each Anzanera tablet contains 0.1 mg of clonazepam as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Anzanera is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clonazepam or any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of drug dependence, as well as in those with severe respiratory diseases or a history of sleep apnea.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Anzanera to patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or psychiatric disorders. Prolonged use can lead to dependence and the appearance of withdrawal symptoms if treatment is abruptly discontinued. Regular monitoring of patients and dose adjustment as needed are recommended. Likewise, its use in elderly patients or those with liver and kidney diseases should be evaluated.
