Indications

Alprazolam is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks. Its action is based on its ability to enhance the effects of the neurotransmitter GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the central nervous system, which contributes to the reduction of neuronal excitability. The medication is used in situations where controlling anxiety symptoms is crucial for the patient's well-being. Additionally, it may be indicated for the management of symptoms associated with anxiety disorders in the context of medical or psychological conditions, as well as in acute stress situations.

Composition

Each tablet contains 2 mg of Alprazolam as the active ingredient, along with excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.

Contraindications

Alprazolam is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam or any component of the formula.
