Indications
Almax (Almagate) is indicated for the treatment of gastric acidity and the relief of symptoms associated with gastritis, such as heartburn and stomach discomfort. Its action is based on the neutralization of excess acid in the stomach, providing a protective effect on the gastric mucosa. This medication is useful in cases of dyspepsia, reflux esophagitis, and in the management of symptoms related to acid indigestion. Its use is recommended in patients who experience occasional or frequent digestive discomfort due to the intake of irritating foods or conditions that increase gastric acid production.
Composition
Each Almax sachet contains 1.5 g of Almagate as the active ingredient. Excipients include: flavorings, sweeteners, and other components that facilitate its liquid presentation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Almagate or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease or those undergoing dialysis treatment. Caution should be exercised in patients with intestinal absorption problems.
Precautions
It is important to use Almax under medical supervision in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, such as intestinal obstruction or hemorrhage. Renal function should be evaluated before starting treatment, and the use of this medication should be considered in patients who are being treated with other medications that may interact with Almagate.
Storage
Store Almax in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
