Indications
Alercrom Nasal Solution is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. This medication works by stabilizing mast cells and preventing the release of inflammatory mediators, which helps reduce allergy symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, and rhinorrhea. Its use is recommended in patients who experience allergy symptoms to pollen, dust mites, mold, and pet dander. Alercrom can be used in conjunction with other treatments to maximize relief from allergic symptoms.
Composition
Each 1 ml of solution contains: Sodium cromoglycate 40 mg, excipients: sodium chloride, purified water, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sodium cromoglycate or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other mast cell stabilizers.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with chronic respiratory diseases, as well as in those with a history of hypersensitivity reactions. The efficacy of the treatment may be affected if use is discontinued abruptly. It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment if the patient is using other medications for allergies or respiratory conditions.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
