Indications
Aldomet is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension and hypertension associated with pregnancy. This medication acts as an antihypertensive agent and helps reduce blood pressure, which can prevent cardiovascular complications. Its use is recommended for patients who require strict blood pressure control, under medical supervision.
Composition
Each Aldomet tablet contains 500 mg of Methyldopa as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Aldomet should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to methyldopa or any of the formulation's components. It is also contraindicated in patients with active liver disease, hepatitis, or those with a history of severe depression. Its use in combination with certain medications may not be advisable, so a doctor should be consulted.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver diseases, as it may cause an increase in liver transaminases. Additionally, regular monitoring of blood pressure and hemoglobin levels is recommended during treatment. It is important to inform the doctor about any other medications being taken, as well as the patient's general health status.

Store Aldomet in its original packaging, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
