Indications

Akira Suspension is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions affecting the respiratory tract, such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. It is also used in the management of asthma symptoms, including cough, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. Mometasone, its active ingredient, works by reducing inflammation and allergic response, providing relief from associated symptoms.

Composition

Each 1 ml of suspension contains 0.5 mg of mometasone (as mometasone furoate).

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mometasone or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in untreated infections and in cases of active pulmonary tuberculosis.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with viral, fungal, or bacterial infections, as well as in those with severe immune system diseases. Patients undergoing long-term treatment should be monitored for the possible occurrence of adverse effects related to corticosteroid use. Contact with eyes should be avoided and prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
