Indications

Aethoxylerol is indicated for the treatment of various medical conditions requiring the action of a sclerotherapeutic agent. It is commonly used in the sclerosis of varicose veins and in other procedures requiring the reduction of vascular volume. Its use should be evaluated according to the patient's condition and the severity of the symptoms presented. This medication can be administered in outpatient procedures under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.

Composition

Each ampoule contains: Lauromacrogol 0.5% as active ingredient. Excipients: purified water and other inactive components that facilitate the formulation.

Contraindications

Aethoxylerol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lauromacrogol or any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with local infections in the area to be treated or in those with conditions that contraindicate the use of sclerotherapy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, coagulation disorders, or in those taking anticoagulant medications. A complete medical evaluation is important before administering the medication. Use in pediatric or geriatric patients should be carefully considered, weighing the benefits against potential risks.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
