Indications

Adarex (Prednisolone) is indicated in the treatment of various conditions requiring an anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive effect. It is used in autoimmune diseases, severe allergies, certain dermatological conditions, and as replacement therapy in adrenal insufficiency. It is also indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as in cases of rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. It is important that its use be supervised by a physician, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's specific condition.

Composition

Each mL of solution contains 3 mg of prednisolone as the active ingredient. Excipients: Sodium chloride, citric acid, and purified water.

Contraindications

Adarex is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to prednisolone or any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in untreated systemic infections, as well as in patients with certain conditions such as active tuberculosis, ocular herpes, and certain fungal and viral infections. Its use should be carefully evaluated in patients with gastrointestinal problems, hypertension, diabetes, and psychiatric illnesses.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of peptic ulcer, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, renal failure, and in those receiving other immunosuppressive medications. Continuous medical monitoring during treatment is essential, as is dose adjustment in case of adverse effects or complications.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
