Aceta Diazol 250 mg, 30 tablets

Indications

Aceta Diazol is indicated in the treatment of various medical conditions, including:

  • Glaucoma: Reduces intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma and secondary glaucoma.
  • Edema: Used as part of the treatment for edema associated with congestive heart failure and other conditions.
  • Metabolic acidosis: Aids in the treatment of metabolic acidosis, especially in cases of chronic kidney disease.
  • Treatment of epilepsy: Can be used as adjunctive therapy in certain types of epilepsy.
  • Mountain sickness: Prevention and treatment of symptoms associated with high-altitude illness.

Composition

Each tablet contains 250 mg of acetazolamide as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, talc, among others.

Contraindications

Aceta Diazol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetazolamide or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe kidney disease or severe hepatic insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with respiratory disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or electrolyte problems. It is important to monitor blood electrolyte levels, as well as kidney function, during treatment. Use in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
