Indications
Abcito (Fexuprazine) is indicated for the treatment of psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia and other mood disorders, where control of symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and thought disturbances is required. It can also be used in the management of severe agitation and behavioral disorders in psychiatric patients.
This medication acts on dopaminergic receptors in the brain, which contributes to mood stabilization and improves patient functionality. The administration of Fexuprazine must be carried out under medical supervision, adjusting the dose according to the patient's clinical response and tolerance.
Composition
Each Abcito tablet contains 40 mg of Fexuprazine as an active ingredient, along with excipients that facilitate the formulation and absorption of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Fexuprazine or to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe hematological or cardiovascular disorders. Likewise, caution should be exercised in cases of hepatic or renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Regular monitoring of patients treated with Abcito is recommended, especially those with a history of seizures or cardiovascular diseases. It is essential to avoid concomitant administration with other medications that may potentiate adverse effects, as well as alcohol consumption.
Storage
Store Abcito in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
