Indications
Melox Plus Suspension is indicated for the treatment of gastric hyperacidity and gastritis. It is useful in relieving symptoms associated with heartburn, such as burning sensation and stomach discomfort. It can also be used for the relief of indigestion and flatulence, helping to reduce the formation of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract. This medication combines the action of its active ingredients to provide a fast and effective effect in the treatment of these digestive conditions.
Composition
Each 10 ml of Melox Plus Suspension contains:
- Aluminum (as hydroxide) 200 mg
- Magnesium (as hydroxide) 100 mg
- Dimethicone 20 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with severe kidney disease or in those with intestinal obstruction. Furthermore, it should not be administered to patients with conditions that require a restriction of aluminum or magnesium intake.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in the use of Melox Plus in patients with renal insufficiency, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with its components. It is important to consult a doctor before starting treatment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if severe symptoms occur.
Storage
Keep the product in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
