Indications
Melox Plus Mast is indicated for the relief of symptoms related to gastrointestinal disorders, such as heartburn, indigestion, and flatulence. This medication combines the properties of aluminum and magnesium, which act as antacids, and simethicone, which helps reduce gas formation in the gastrointestinal tract. It is useful in treating episodes of abdominal discomfort, bloating, and a feeling of fullness, thus facilitating better digestion and digestive comfort. Additionally, it can be indicated in cases of overeating or excessive consumption of carbonated beverages, providing fast and effective symptomatic relief.
Composition
Each Melox Plus Mast tablet contains: Aluminum, Magnesium, and Simethicone in the following proportion: 200 mg of each component.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, as the elimination of its components may be compromised. Likewise, it should be avoided in cases of intestinal obstruction or diseases that alter gastrointestinal motility.
