Indications
Melox Plus is indicated for the treatment and management of symptoms associated with heartburn, acid dyspepsia, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Its components, aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, work by neutralizing excess acid in the stomach, providing relief in cases of gastritis and gastric ulcers. Simethicone, for its part, helps reduce gas formation and alleviate the feeling of abdominal distension, facilitating the expulsion of flatulence. This medication can be used to alleviate discomfort caused by the ingestion of gas-producing foods or by stress situations that affect digestion.
Composition
Each Melox Plus tablet contains: 200 mg of aluminum hydroxide, 200 mg of magnesium hydroxide, and 25 mg of simethicone.
Contraindications
Melox Plus is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Its use is not recommended in people with severe kidney disease, as it may worsen the condition. Likewise, it should not be used in patients with intestinal obstruction or in those who have a greater predisposition to intestinal absorption problems.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients who are being treated with other medications that may interact with the components of Melox Plus. It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid prolonged use without medical supervision. Monitoring is suggested for patients who present persistent or severe gastrointestinal symptoms.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
