Indications
Mejoralito Pediátrico is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain in children. It is commonly used to relieve headache, toothache, muscle pain, sore throat, as well as to reduce fever associated with various conditions, such as viral or bacterial infections. It is suitable for use in children from 2 years of age, and it is recommended to follow the dosage instructions according to the child's weight and age, as per medical guidance or a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each Mejoralito Pediátrico tablet contains 80 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. In addition, it may contain excipients such as flavorings, colorings, and other components that facilitate the product's formulation.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any of the excipients it contains. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease or in those with severe renal insufficiency. Likewise, caution should be exercised in children with dehydration or malnutrition.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Mejoralito Pediátrico with caution in patients who regularly consume alcohol, as this may increase the risk of liver toxicity. Co-administration with other medicines containing paracetamol should also be avoided to prevent the risk of overdose. It is important to consult a doctor before administering this medicine if the child has any other medical condition or is taking other medicines.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date indicated on the package.
