Indications
Lutein is a carotenoid found in high levels in the retina of the eye. Its supplementation is indicated for supporting eye health, contributing to protection against oxidative damage and age-related macular degeneration. It has been associated with reducing the risk of cataracts and improving visual acuity. Furthermore, it can be used as a supplement in diets seeking to improve general health and well-being, particularly in people with insufficient intake of carotenoid-rich fruits and vegetables.
Composition
Each Lutein 1000 mg capsule contains:
- Lutein: 1000 mg
- Excipients: Gelatin, Glycerin, Purified Water.
Contraindications
The use of Lutein is not recommended for individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with specific medical conditions, such as liver diseases or coagulation problems.
Precautions
It is advisable to consult a doctor before starting Lutein supplementation, especially for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those undergoing medical treatment for other conditions. Lutein should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
