Indications
Lotrimin-Uno 1% Cream is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi, such as tinea corporis, tinea pedis (athlete's foot), and superficial candidiasis. Its antifungal action is based on the inhibition of ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, resulting in the death of fungal cells. It is recommended to apply the cream to the affected area once or twice a day, according to medical instructions, until the complete resolution of symptoms. It is important to continue treatment for a few days after symptoms disappear to prevent relapse.
Composition
Each 100g of Lotrimin-Uno Cream contains 1g of bifonazole as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product.
Contraindications
Lotrimin-Uno Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bifonazole or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be applied to areas of skin with extensive lesions or mucous membranes.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other antifungals. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age unless directed by a physician. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. It should not be used for skin infections of bacterial origin, such as impetigo.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
