Indications
Loterex Drops are indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory conditions of the eye and ocular adnexa. Its use is effective in cases of allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, and in the management of post-surgical inflammation, as well as in inflammatory processes that require anti-inflammatory management. Its use under medical supervision is recommended to ensure proper evaluation and monitoring of treatment response.
Composition
Each mL of Loterex Drops contains 2 mg of Loteprednol etabonate. Excipients: sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, purified water, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Loteprednol or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in untreated viral, fungal, or tuberculous ocular infections, as well as in cases of herpes simplex or corneal perforations.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of ocular herpes simplex, as well as in those with systemic diseases that may be affected by the use of corticosteroids. Regular follow-up is important to avoid complications associated with prolonged use of topical steroids.
Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
