Indications
Losec A-20 is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive gastric acid production. It is used in the management of diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where there is irritation of the esophagus due to the reflux of gastric content. This medication is also effective in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in the prevention of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Additionally, it is used for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, which contributes to ulcer healing and improves gastrointestinal health.
Composition
Each capsule contains 20 mg of Omeprazole as the active ingredient. Excipients: Lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, and other excipients.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Omeprazole or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Furthermore, it should not be administered to patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other proton pump inhibitors.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with severe liver diseases, as well as in those with vitamin B12 deficiency. It is important to consider that long-term use of Omeprazole may be associated with an increased risk of gastrointestinal infections and bone fractures. Monitoring is suggested for patients requiring long-term treatment.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
