Indications
Losec A-20 20 mg is used for the treatment of various conditions related to excess stomach acid. The main indications include:
- Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
- Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.
- Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis.
- Control of gastric hyperacidity in patients with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Omeprazole works by inhibiting the proton pump in the stomach, which reduces acid production, thereby helping to relieve symptoms associated with these conditions and promoting the healing of gastric mucosa.
Composition
Each Losec A-20 capsule contains 20 mg of omeprazole, as well as excipients that favor the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Losec A-20 is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the product's excipients. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe liver conditions.
Precautions
The use of Losec A-20 is recommended with caution in patients with a history of liver disease, as well as in those who are undergoing treatment with medications that may interact with omeprazole. Adequate medical follow-up is important to avoid complications.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
