Indications

Lomecan Cream 2% is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi, including ringworm, candidiasis, and dermatophytosis. Its antifungal action is due to clotrimazole's ability to inhibit the growth of fungi and yeasts. It is also used in the treatment of candidal dermatitis in moist areas of the body, as well as for the relief of symptoms associated with these conditions, such as itching, redness, and inflammation. It is recommended to apply the cream to the affected area and its surroundings, ensuring the skin is clean and dry before use.

Composition

Each 100 g of Lomecan Cream contains: Clotrimazole 2 g. Excipients: cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water, and other excipients.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any of the excipients that make up the product. Its use is not recommended for viral skin infections, such as herpes simplex or chickenpox.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when applying Lomecan Cream to large areas of the skin, especially in children and individuals with severe skin disorders. Its use is not recommended on mucous membranes or open wounds. If irritation persists or worsens, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
