Indications
Libonide Rin is a medication indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, both seasonal and perennial, in adults and children. Its action focuses on reducing inflammation of the respiratory tract, thus improving associated symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching. Additionally, it is used in the management of chronic sinusitis and for the treatment of nasal polyps in adults. Budesonide, its active ingredient, acts locally by reducing inflammation and facilitating breathing.
Composition
Each 6 mL of suspension contains: Budesonide 64 Mcg. Excipients: purified water, sweeteners, preservatives, and stabilizers.
Contraindications
Libonide Rin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Budesonide or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in untreated upper respiratory tract infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of tuberculosis, viral infections, or those who are immunocompromised. Prolonged use may lead to systemic effects, so adequate monitoring is suggested. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in patients with cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
