Indications
Inotropisa is indicated for the treatment of patients with cardiogenic shock, congestive heart failure, and other conditions that require increased myocardial contractility. Dopamine acts as a positive inotropic agent, improving heart function and increasing cardiac output. It is also used in situations of severe hypotension, where an increase in blood pressure is essential to ensure adequate perfusion of vital organs. Furthermore, it can be considered in the treatment of acute renal dysfunction, by improving renal blood flow at specific doses.
Composition
Each Inotropisa ampule contains: Dopamine 200 mg in 5 ml of injectable solution.
Contraindications
Inotropisa is contraindicated in patients with pheochromocytoma, tachyarrhythmias, or those who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the formula. Its use should be avoided in patients with heart block without an adequate pacemaker and in cases of chronic renal failure without proper management.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Inotropisa to patients with ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, or those with a history of hypertension. Blood pressure, heart rate, and urinary output should be monitored during treatment. In case of adverse effects, reevaluation of therapy and dosage is suggested.
Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. Keep out of reach of children.
