Indications
Doscoxel Duo is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, as well as in the management of acute and chronic painful conditions, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. This medication combines two active ingredients: Etoricoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, and Tramadol, an opioid analgesic that acts on the central nervous system to relieve pain. This combination allows for a synergistic effect in pain management, improving the quality of life of patients suffering from painful conditions.
Composition
Each Doscoxel Duo tablet contains 120 mg of Etoricoxib and 100 mg of Tramadol. Excipients include: microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, talc, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the formula's components, those with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe hepatic insufficiency, severe uncontrolled renal insufficiency, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, kidney or liver disease, as well as in those who consume alcohol or are undergoing treatment with other analgesics. Regular medical follow-up during treatment is important to assess efficacy and the appearance of possible adverse effects.
