Indications
Dalvear Inf Syrup is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of respiratory diseases that involve dry and productive cough. Dropropizine acts as an antitussive, relieving cough by acting on the cough center in the central nervous system. Bromhexine, on the other hand, is a mucolytic that facilitates the elimination of accumulated mucus in the respiratory tract, improving respiratory function. This medication is useful in cases of acute and chronic bronchitis, as well as in episodes of common colds and other respiratory conditions that require symptomatic management of cough and sputum production.
Composition
Each 100 ml of syrup contains: 150 mg of dropropizine and 80 mg of bromhexine, in addition to excipients necessary for the syrup formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age, as well as in patients with gastric ulcers or coagulation problems. Caution should be exercised in patients with severe liver or kidney diseases.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in asthmatic patients, as it may increase mucus production. Additionally, it is recommended to monitor patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. It is important to avoid self-medication and consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
