Indications
Dalexidol is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain, including but not limited to musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and postoperative pain. This medication combines the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of celecoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor, and paracetamol, which primarily acts on the central nervous system to relieve pain and reduce fever. The combination of these two components allows for effective pain management, with a decrease in gastrointestinal side effects compared to other NSAIDs. It is important that the use of Dalexidol is carried out under the supervision of a physician, who can determine the most appropriate dose and duration of treatment for each patient.
Composition
Each Dalexidol tablet contains:
- Celecoxib: 200 mg
- Paracetamol: 500 mg
Contraindications
Dalexidol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to celecoxib, paracetamol, or any of the excipients of the product. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other NSAIDs. It should not be administered to patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, and those with a history of peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, or who are receiving other medications that may affect renal or hepatic function. Regular monitoring of the patient's condition is recommended during treatment, especially in those with pre-existing conditions that may be exacerbated by the use of NSAIDs.
