Indications
Blopress Plus is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. The combination of candesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, allows for more effective blood pressure control. It can also be used in patients whose blood pressure is not controlled by a single antihypertensive. This medication may be useful in preventing cardiovascular and renal complications associated with hypertension.
Composition
Each Blopress Plus tablet contains 16 mg of candesartan cilexetil and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Blopress Plus is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in those with a history of angioedema associated with renin-angiotensin system inhibitor treatment, as well as in patients with severe renal insufficiency or anuria. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hepatic insufficiency, hypokalemia, or those who are being treated with other antihypertensives. Electrolyte levels and renal function should be monitored during treatment. Additionally, the risk of hypotension should be considered in dehydrated patients or those with reduced intravascular volume.

Store in its original packaging at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
