Indications
Atrovent is indicated for the treatment of obstructive respiratory diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. Its use is indicated as bronchodilator therapy to relieve the symptoms of bronchospasm, facilitating breathing in patients experiencing respiratory distress. It can also be used as complementary treatment in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who require an additional therapeutic approach for symptom control.
Composition
Each Atrovent ampoule contains: Ipratropium Bromide 500 mcg in inhalation solution. Excipients: purified water, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid.
Contraindications
Atrovent is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ipratropium bromide or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe allergies to other anticholinergics.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular conditions, hypertension, prostatic hyperplasia, or glaucoma, as the use of anticholinergics may worsen these conditions. It is important to monitor patients who experience adverse reactions or side effects during treatment.

Store in its original container at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
