Indications
Telarteq is indicated for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension in adults. Its action is based on the inhibition of the angiotensin II receptor, which contributes to the reduction of blood pressure through the relaxation of blood vessels. Furthermore, it can be used in patients with heart failure and in those with type 2 diabetes and hypertension, as it may offer benefits in renal protection. It is essential to follow medical instructions and continuously monitor blood pressure during treatment.
Composition
Each Telarteq tablet contains 80 mg of Telmisartan as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for product formulation.
Contraindications
Telarteq is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Telmisartan or any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs). Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of renal insufficiency, liver disease, or those being treated with diuretics. It is important to adequately monitor renal and electrolyte function, especially at the start of treatment. Regular blood pressure assessment and dose adjustment as needed are recommended.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
