Indications
Sunam (Pramipexole) is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease in adult patients. This medication acts as a dopamine receptor agonist, helping to improve mobility and reduce motor symptoms associated with this condition. It can also be used in the treatment of dyskinesia related to the use of levodopa in patients with Parkinson's disease. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional and that the dose be adjusted according to the specific needs of the patient.
Composition
Each Sunam tablet contains 0.5 mg of Pramipexole as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the formulation of the product.
Contraindications
Sunam is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pramipexole or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency or in those with uncontrolled hallucinations or psychiatric disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, as it may exacerbate these problems. Additionally, it is important to monitor patients for the possible appearance of adverse effects such as somnolence or dizziness, especially when initiating treatment or increasing the dose.
